Introduction
It all began with the founder’s thirteen years of experience; Mr. Humphrey Mwenda, working for the Coffee Board Of Kenya.
Mr. Humphrey Mwenda worked for the Coffee Board Of Kenya as a Coffee Inspector. Throughout his career as an inspector, he interacted with other roasters. He analyzed through his experience and expertise as an inspector, that some of the roasters delivered substandard quality roasted coffee for the Kenyan market, he said.
He then made it his mission to ensure that the standard, safety of consumption, and quality of coffee especially the low-graded coffee; where quality is often comprised; were raised.
Like Mohandas Gandhi said, “If you want to change the world, start with you.” Therefore, Mr. Humphrey decided to start the change by registering the Fair to Good Coffee Company in the year 2007 and actively started trading in the year 2010 after leaving the Coffee Board Of Kenya to see this journey through.
That is why here at Fair To Good Coffee Company, we intend to make that change in the industry.
We have made it our mission to elevate the production of safe and quality coffee and tea and to equally ensure that our customers’ affordability is also essential.
